About Us
Centered’s unique treatment philosophy emerges from the psychedelic therapy approach that includes individual therapy, group therapy, and community integration as essential aspects of recovery from personal distress and unwellness.
Our approach views the origin of disease and the factors which bring healing as a complex interaction between biological history, personal history, and the wider context of a person’s life in the world.
Centered is organized around the conceptual model that bringing oneself back to a place of “centeredness” involves a clear understanding and balancing of one’s sense of self.
Ketamine Assisted therapy is one way to begin to support people who are suffering from conditions like depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. Treatments give a period of symptom relief which, when followed by appropriate therapy and integration, allows the person to change their relationship with themselves, with others, and with their lives.
At Centered, we understand that individuals are part of a collective and healing is not a journey that can be taken alone. With this in mind, we offer both individual and group ketamine sessions.
Group work offers individuals the opportunity to connect with a community of people who have familiar struggles. Individuals come out of the isolation of unwellness to work together toward the common goal of finding their own centers.
We pay careful attention to preparing patients for our structured, medication-assisted therapy sessions. Central to our philosophy is the necessity of follow-up integration of the experience into the person’s life to effect change. We thoughtfully attend to “set and setting” (the physical and energetic environment of the space during sessions) to ensure safe and effective outcomes. We will support you throughout your preparation, experience, and integration period.
Our goal is to facilitate and guide safe, connected, informed, and caring experiences for both individuals and groups.
